No matter the size or complexity of the project, Shane built the company around one core principle: deliver exceptional results with honesty and care.
In 2025, Lakestone Painting entered a new chapter under the ownership of Victor Montoya. With a background in technology and experience working in Silicon Valley startups, Victor brings a fresh perspective, operational discipline, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. His goal is simple: build upon the strong reputation established by Shane while continuing to raise the standard for quality and service. Today, Victor leads the company while also investing in small to mid-sized businesses, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset to everything he does.
Supporting that vision is Phil Cauley, who oversees operations and brings more than 40 years of industry experience to the team. Phil began painting at just 13 years old under the guidance of his father, and has spent decades honing his craft. His depth of knowledge, leadership, and commitment to excellence play a key role in ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard.
